Dungeness Dental is seeking an experienced and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This is a full-time position (32–34 hours per week), Monday through Thursday, offering an excellent opportunity to work alongside a skilled team that is committed to providing exceptional patient care in a positive, supportive environment.
We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a desire for continuous professional growth. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year chairside dental assisting experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
We provide a wide range of dental services, including:
- Fillings and restorative dentistry
- Crown and bridge procedures
- Root canal therapy
- Extractions
- Dentures
- Dental implants
Dental Assistant responsibilities Include:
- Assisting and anticipating the needs of the Dentist during dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms for patient care
- Taking digital radiographs and intra oral photos
- Utilizing intraoral scanners for digital impressions
- Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control protocols
- Educating patients on treatment and oral hygiene instructions
- Taking and recording patient medical histories and vital information
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Ensuring patient comfort and delivering exceptional customer service
- Stocking treatment rooms as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards
- Experience with intraoral scanning technology (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
