DayOne Staffing is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Tristar Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, Tennessee. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation while adhering to facility policies and standards.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS (Optional)
- Minimum of one year recent Med-Surg nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment
