Duties
- Lead and motivate team members during your shift to deliver outstanding food service and hospitality experiences.
- Oversee daily food preparation, cooking processes, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing, cash handling, and transaction reconciliation.
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure fresh ingredients and supplies are always available.
- Supervise kitchen operations, including food safety practices, food handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with health regulations.
- Train new staff members on food production techniques, customer service protocols, and restaurant policies to promote continuous development.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism and positivity to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support restaurant management in budgeting efforts, shift scheduling, and ensuring operational efficiency during busy hours.
Experience
- Proven experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment with hands-on cooking and food preparation skills.
- Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for transaction processing and reporting.
- Background in food safety standards, kitchen management, and food handling procedures.
- Experience in staff training, development programs, and implementing operational best practices.
- Prior involvement in managing inventory control, budgeting tasks, or restaurant operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced setting.
