Job Overview
We are currently hiring experienced Excavator Operators for active construction projects in the South Pharr–McAllen–Mission area and East Brownsville, Texas.
These are active projects with work already on hand and an anticipated duration of approximately 4–6 months. We are looking for dependable, safety-conscious operators who are ready to start immediately and are available to work 55+ hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently on active construction sites
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, loading, and general earthwork
- Work around utilities, structures, trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain safe working conditions and follow project safety requirements
- Coordinate with supervisors, grade personnel, truck drivers, and other equipment operators
- Maintain production while operating equipment safely and accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience operating excavators in construction or earthwork operations
- Ability to safely operate equipment in active construction environments
- Experience with excavation, trenching, grading, and loading preferred
- Ability to work 55+ hours per week, including overtime as required
- Reliable transportation to the project location
- Dependable attendance and ability to report to work on time
- Must follow all company and project safety requirements
