Global Precision Parts; www.globalprecisionpartsinc.com is seeking to fill multiple shifts machine operator and CNC operators at the Ottoville, Ohio Facility.
Machine operator positions provide an excellent opportunity to learn or grow production machining skills.
Day Shift: 5:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday - Thursday ---Overtime available
Night Shift: 5:00 P.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday - Thursday --- Overtime available
Weekend Shift Days: 6:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. - Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Potential 4 hour bonus working scheduled hours to equal 40 hours.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation of screw machines or CNC's, which includes stocking and loading the machines, keeping machine filled with proper fluids and chip removal from machining area.
- Responsible for quality of parts being machined with the ability to follow dimensional control plans and blue prints.
- Machine operator must learn to assist Setup Operator in doing tool changes, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Machine operator must check and monitor parts to ensure they remain within Quality specifications.
- Machine operator must learn to grind or adjust tooling.
- Must be able to communicate with the production manager, lead person, other operators and material handlers to make sure the job procedures are being followed strictly.
Qualifications:
- Ability to keep accurate counts and production records.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and keep the work area clean.
- Must be safety minded and willing to work.
- Must have basic math skills, be mechanically inclined and able to work without constant supervision.
