We're a mid-sized excavation company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and we're looking for a seasoned, hands-on Superintendent to join our team. This is a key leadership role where you'll help drive our projects from start to finish with strong oversight and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee multiple job sites simultaneously, managing crews and excavation/grading projects.
Install underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and ensure compliance with city and job site requirements.
Operate heavy equipment as needed as a working superintendent.
Maintain daily logs, track materials, labor hours, and production using our daily log app.
Set clear daily and weekly goals for crews and monitor progress.
Train and mentor crew members on proper techniques and procedures.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Utilize Procore for project management and documentation.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers for material ordering and project needs.
Manage project imports, exports, and overall site logistics.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience supervising crews and managing multiple construction sites.
Strong background in excavation, grading, and underground utility installation.
Proficient in plan reading and understanding job-specific regulations.
Experience with Procore and construction management software.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
