$20 - $25/hr depending on experience

Are you an experienced Water Mitigation Technician who takes pride in helping customers recover from unexpected disasters? We are looking for a dependable, motivated professional to join our growing restoration team. If you have experience with water mitigation, demolition, taking & documenting moisture readings, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Water Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to residential and commercial water losses and performing emergency mitigation services, including:
- Perform water extraction and structural drying services.
- Take accurate moisture readings and document drying progress using moisture meters and thermal imaging equipment.
- Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA filtration devices.
- Perform demolition and flood cuts while minimizing damage to unaffected areas.
- Remove damaged building materials and prepare structures for reconstruction.
- Complete daily documentation, photos, sketches, and job notes using restoration software.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and project managers.
- Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment.
- Follow all company safety policies and IICRC standards.
- Participation in after-hours and on-call emergency response is REQUIRED.
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience in water mitigation/restoration.
- Experience taking moisture readings and documenting drying progress.
- Experience performing demolition, flood cuts, and structural drying.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred:
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) Certification.
- Applied Structural Drying (ASD) Certification.
- Experience with DASH, MICA, or similar restoration management software.
- Reconstruction experience (drywall, painting, trim, flooring, framing, etc.) is a significant plus.
- Construction or remodeling background.
