Join our dynamic educational team as the Full-Time Program Director for Medical Assisting, where you will lead and oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Medical Assisting program. Summary of Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of the Medical Assisting program to ensure curriculum relevance, compliance with accreditation standards, and alignment with industry needs
- Collaborate with faculty to develop engaging lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that enhance student learning outcomes
- Oversee student recruitment, enrollment processes, and retention strategies to foster a supportive educational environment
- Manage program budgets, resources, and scheduling to maximize operational efficiency
- Monitor student progress through assessments and provide guidance to support academic achievement and professional development
- Maintain strong relationships with healthcare industry partners to facilitate clinical placements and job placement opportunities for graduates
- Ensure compliance with all accreditation requirements, institutional policies, and regulatory standards related to medical assisting education
Skills
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or a Diploma; an associate degree is highly desired
- Certification: RMA and/or CMA, and/or CCMA
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education teaching within healthcare or medical assisting programs
- At least 5 years as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, patient-facing
- Excellent teaching skills that engage diverse student populations and foster active learning
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and industry partners to promote a collaborative educational environment
- Exceptional organizational skills for managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for mentoring students and supporting their academic and professional growth
- Flexible schedule availability to lead/manage a program with day/evening classes

Pay: $57,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year
