Responsibilities:
- Prepare exam rooms and assist in patient flow.
- Take detailed medical histories, including reviewing medications and allergies.
- Ensure rooms are stocked and ready for exams and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Work with a diverse patient population, including adult and pediatric patients.
- Scribe for doctors during patient visits to ensure efficient and accurate documentation.
- Support providers in delivering outstanding dermatologic care.
- Contribute to the team’s overall efficiency and success.

- Previous medical assistant experience a plus.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Experience with Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) EHR is a plus!

Perlmutter Dermatology has two providers. Dr. Alexis Perlmutter is a board-certified Pediatrician and Dermatologist and cares for pediatric and adult patients. Dr. Perlmutter has been practicing in the Capital Region for 8 years. David Foster, RPA, has been practicing dermatology in the Capital Region for over 10 years.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
