US Vanadium - Benton is in immediate need of Industrial Mechanics to provide maintenance, repair, and installation services for the facility.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installs, maintains and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing following specifications, blueprints, and manuals.
- Performs daily inspection of machinery and equipment at the plant
- Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to diagnose the cause of malfunctions.
- Communicates in a timely and effective manner with the maintenance manager to keep them informed about major problems.
- Performs data entry on all services performed.
- May operate mobile equipment.
- Performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspections on service vehicle to include fueling, cleaning, tire/light inspection, checking, and adding fluids as needed
- Services pumps/motors as needed
- Repairs/replaces worn items as required
- Perform welding, repair, and fabrication
- Maintains parts inventory
- Demonstrate good knowledge of the lockout/tag out procedure required during certain jobs.
- Communicates/directs co-workers through hand signals and two-way radio
- Assists in the training of co-workers as needed
- Performs general clean-up of the work area.
- Required to follow all EH&S policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position.
- Must pass an Industrial Millwright exam.

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
