Job Overview
Royal Scot Bowling & Entertainment Center is seeking a Banquet Bartender to support private events, banquets, leagues, and special functions. This role focuses on providing friendly, efficient bar service in a fast-paced event setting while delivering a great guest experience.
This position is ideal for someone with bartending or event experience who enjoys working nights and weekends and thrives in social, high-energy environments.
Responsibilities
- Set up, stock, and break down banquet and event bars
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service to event guests and league participants
- Monitor guest consumption and follow all alcohol service laws and policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately
- Coordinate with banquet staff and management to support smooth event service
- Assist with basic event setup or breakdown as needed
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Prior bartending or event service experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic cocktails, beer, and wine service
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift beverage supplies
- Responsible alcohol service mindset (TIPS or equivalent certification a plus)
