We are looking for a motivated, personable sales rep to build relationships with local mom-and-pop shops, boutiques, and grocers, and get our select brands' products onto their shelves. We are an e-commerce team selling beauty and personal care products looking to expand to local retail.
This role is for someone who:
- Enjoys meeting new people and building rapport quickly
- Is comfortable walking into a store cold and pitching a product
- Has a natural sales instinct and isn't afraid of hearing "no"
- Can manage their own schedule and territory independently according to the brands' campaign schedule
You'll be driving to local retailers across the area, introducing our brands, pitching product lines, and building lasting relationships with store owners and buyers.
Responsibilities
- Visit local mom-and-pop shops, boutiques, and grocers in person to pitch our select brands' products
- Build and maintain relationships with store owners, managers, and buyers
- Track leads, follow-ups, and closed accounts
- Collaborate with our team on pitch materials, product priorities, and territory strategy
- Provide feedback from retailers to help refine our approach
Ideal Candidate
- Outgoing and confident in face-to-face conversations
- Comfortable with rejection and persistent in follow-up
- Self-motivated and able to manage a driving route efficiently
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required
- Punctual, quick thinker, and professional in retail settings
Bonus: prior experience in sales, retail, or brand representation.
Compensation
- Monthly stipend: $300
- Commission: uncapped, based on sales performance. 10-15% commission per unit sold on first orders. 5% commission per unit sold on reorders from accounts you opened. Commission rate can increase based on performance.
Location
Nashville, TN. Must be flexible to travel locally throughout the area and to nearby markets as needed.
