Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating a welcoming environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas of our facility are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Duties
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet the needs of the facility while maximizing staff productivity.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and enhance overall guest experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to floor care, custodial practices, and industrial cleaning techniques.
Experience
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of custodial practices, including floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
