Job Title: Hotel Houseman
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Houseman to oversee public areas as well as provide light duty maintenance.
You will be responsible for performing any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, public areas and the hotel's exterior.
You must demonstrate a professional, friendly, warm and welcoming demeanor to all guest and employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Maintain all public areas
-Maintain interior and exterior of hotel
-Shampoo carpets and rugs
-Sweep, vaccuum, mop, scrub, wax, polish floors/carpets
-Assist Housekeepers with collecting soiled linen and trash
-Remove trash from all areas of the hotel
-Wash trash bins, cans and recepticals weekly
-Strip rooms when necessary
-Assist with heavy lifting
-Follow all standard operating and safety standards
-Report missing and/or damaged items to Housekeeping Manager or Chief of Engineer
-Responds at all times in a friendly and helpful manner
-Handles any task assigned by management
-Perform janitorial duties
-Perform light duty maintenance
-Wipe/clean glass on all interior and exterior doors
-Maintain luggage carts
-Maintain laundry room and fitness equipment
-Maintain dumpster area
