Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Operate POS systems for processing customer orders and transactions
- Manage food service customer orders with accuracy, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and managing sanitation protocols
- Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions and giving accurate change
- Assist with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, taking orders, and ensuring a positive experience
- Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including stocking supplies and managing inventory
- Follow food safety guidelines for handling food products and maintaining proper hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashier experience is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or café environments is advantageous
- Previous retail or grocery store experience can be beneficial for understanding sales transactions
