Job description
We are looking for an experienced and detail oriented suspension and alignment specialist for an independent Toyota/Lexus service center. This is a fast paced job that requires multitasking as we are always VERY busy! If you are passionate about diagnosing handling concerns, building quality suspension systems, and performance precision alignment, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Diagnose suspension, steering, and ride quality concerns.
- Perform front-end inspection and identify worn or damaged components.
- Install and replace suspension and steering components including: Ball joints, control arms, tie rods, shocks and struts, coil overs, springs, wheel bearings, bushings, sway bar components.
- Perform precision 4-wheel alignments using Hunter alignment machine.
- Diagnose tire wear, steering pull, vibration, and handling issues.
- Ensure vehical meets manufacture specifications or customer-requested performance settings.
- Test drive vehicle before and after repairs to verify proper operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs.
Requirements:
- Previous professional experience performing suspension repairs and wheel alignment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify steering and suspension issues beyond simple parts replacement.
- Experience using computerized alignment equipment.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Valid drivers License
- ASE certification is a plus but not required
- Experience with Toyota/Lexus vehicles preferred, but not required.
