Neighborhood Dance is seeking super-star dance instructors!
We pride ourselves on offering classes that are taught by highly-qualified teachers in positive classrooms, and we are looking for caring, fun and motivated teachers that are passionate about developing children and fostering their love for dance and the performing arts. Our classes go beyond teaching technique and poise and help students develop important life skills and learn to be respectful, confident, and conscientious young people in the community.
We are looking for instructors who are qualified to teach beginning through advanced levels of Tap. Versatility in teaching a variety of genres is a plus, but not required. Instructors should lead by example in areas such as punctuality, responsibility, motivation and professionalism.
Qualifications
· High energy level
· Excellent presentation and professionalism
· Thorough knowledge of dance
· A heart for children
· Teaching experience and excellent classroom management skills
· Ability to commit for a full year
· Supportive toward students, giving constructive feedback, encouragement and building confidence
· Ability to effectively design and plan curriculum for all levels of assigned classes according to the syllabus
