Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. This position is responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties including inputting daily and monthly transactional general ledger activities, month-end closing activities, reconciliation of accounts as directed, financial-related reports, schedules, and audits, in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.

Responsible for accurate and timely month-end closing.

Produces month-end financial reports in a timely manner.

Analyzes and reconciles balance sheet accounts.

Prepares, reviews, and interprets data for inclusion in financial reports, statements, and summaries.

Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations.

Assists with company cash flow analysis including but not limited to tracking cash flow activity, preparing reports, and analyzing information for management.

Assists with annual physical inventory and related reconciliations.

Assists with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed.

Assists in the adoption of new accounting standards including but not limited to researching standards, preparing written accounting policies for the company, and preparing new disclosures.

Assists with annual external audits and tax filings.

Assists with related special projects as required.

Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to financial policies and procedures.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

3–5 years of progressing corporate or public accounting experience.

Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, financial analysis and regulatory compliance.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.

Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop, Microsoft Office Suite, and Monday.com or similar ERP and CRM systems.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position based at the company's headquarters. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
