Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista Wednesday- Sunday 15-30 hours a week to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while providing outstanding customer service. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced café environment, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied with their experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, teas, and other menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations and customer areas.
- Operate the Toast POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain service efficiency.
Skills
- Previous barista experience or coffee experience is required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
