Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This vital role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and advanced medical interventions, often bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical units. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in critical care, excellent clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Duties
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ recent years experience as a PCU/Stepdown/Tele.
- Experience with medication drips.
- ACLS & BLS in hand from AHA
- RN-License
