Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as required.
- Position patients appropriately and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or emergencies.
- Review patient histories, laboratory results, and screening information prior to imaging.
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control policies.

Requirements:
- 2 year of Nuclear Medicine experience is required
- ARRT (N) or NMTCB
- California State License is required
- American Heart Association BLS
