We are seeking a experienced optician that is hard-working and efficient, who can see the work that needs to be performed and complete all tasks efficiently. At least 3 years of experience as an optician is required. We are looking for the following:
- Track record of high-quality customer service
- Ability to:
- Adjust and repair glasses
- Teach the insert and removal of contacts
- Educate patients on differences in materials and progressive lens styles
- Neutralize and transpose prescriptions
- Take accurate optical measurements
- Discuss differences in contact lens brands and modalities;
- Team player and willing to assist other departments if needed
- Effective troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to travel between two different locations (Creve Coeur and Lake St. Louis, MO)
