Job Summary
We are seeking a CLASS- A truck driver that is skilled and reliable to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and the ability to work in various weather conditions. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt to job sites.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure timely delivery of materials for construction projects.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload materials using loaders or other heavy equipment as needed.
- Assist in paving operations by delivering necessary materials promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating heavy machinery, including bulldozers, backhoes, and other equipment.
- Support horizontal drilling operations by transporting necessary equipment and materials.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dump Truck Driver or in a similar heavy equipment operation role.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Familiarity with loader operation, bulldozing, digging, and other construction-related tasks is preferred.
- Experience working in construction environments with an understanding of safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on various job sites.
