Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a love of education. This role offers an exciting opportunity to create engaging lesson plans, implement innovative teaching strategies, and support the holistic development of children in their early elementary years. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, utilizing data to tailor instructional approaches.
- Implement curriculum development strategies that promote literacy, math, science, social studies, and other core subjects in an engaging manner.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, educational technology integration, and school-wide initiatives to enhance teaching effectiveness.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and developmental progress through meetings, reports, and digital platforms.
- Support students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lessons accordingly and working closely with specialists when necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven classroom experience teaching elementary school students, preferably in 3rd grade or similar early childhood settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, learning technology tools, and educational compliance regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior while fostering a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, assessment data analysis, and curriculum implementation strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; additional certifications in early childhood education or special education are preferred.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
