You are a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse who values teamwork, accountability, and resident-centered care. You are comfortable working independently, making sound clinical decisions, and collaborating with caregivers and leadership to ensure residents receive safe, consistent, and respectful care.
You enjoy building relationships with residents and families while helping maintain the high standard of service expected in an Assisted Living environment.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility procedures
Maintain accurate medication administration records and resident documentation
Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to leadership and the appropriate care team
Support and mentor direct care staff to promote consistent, high-quality resident care
Coordinate resident care plans, transfers, discharges, and incident reporting
Maintain the security and organization of medication carts and nursing areas
Serve as a clinical resource and point of contact for resident and family concerns
Assist with staff training, safety drills, and emergency response as needed
Uphold infection control standards and regulatory requirements
Participate in a periodic on-call rotation to support Assisted Living nursing needs
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Kansas required
CPR certification required
Previous Assisted Living, long-term care, or healthcare experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with caregiving and leadership teams
Ability to lead, mentor, and support direct care staff
Must pass required physical exam and meet vaccination and TB screening requirements
