American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience, with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend coverage.

Hospital-based Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekend rotation schedule to be discussed during interview

On-call required: typically one weekday/call per week and one weekend every 5–6 weeks

Floating within the facility and within scope of practice as needed

Local candidates are accepted for this position

Active GA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required

Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration

No scheduling requests or alternate shift arrangements will be accommodated — the posted shift is firm

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for at least one full year before returning as a traveler

RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment

Holiday coverage policy: if one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two, and one holiday RTO request may be submitted for approval

Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counts as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counts as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counts as one)

Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is required on time; delays will result in a two-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule

Travel pairs will not be assigned to the same shift on the same unit
