$37.50/hour after 30 days
$40/hour after 60 days
Hours: Part-Time to Full-Time Growth Opportunity, 15 - 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

Music for Life Kids is seeking an Director for our Music School to help support a rapidly growing music education company serving more than 3,000 children at over 100 preschools from the East Coast to the West Coast.
We currently operate throughout California, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., with additional markets planned in Texas, Ohio, and beyond.
This position starts at approximately 15 - 20 hours per week and is designed to grow into a full-time role for the right person.
YOUR JOB
Your job is not simply to solve problems.

You will regularly communicate with:
- School Directors
- Parents
- Teachers
- Internal Administrative Staff
One of your most important responsibilities will be ensuring that all parties above that are involved are informed, aligned, and on the same page.
When issues arise, you will gather information, communicate with everyone affected, coordinate solutions, and ensure that each person understands what is happening, why it is happening, what actions are being taken, and what comes next.
Your goal is to eliminate confusion, prevent miscommunication, and ensure that schools, parents, teachers, and administrative staff feel informed, supported, and confident that situations are being handled appropriately.
You will help coordinate communication, scheduling, logistics, and operations while continuously identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Communication
- Resolve operational issues involving schools, parents, teachers, and administrative staff
- Handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally
- Research solutions using AI tools and available resources
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all stakeholders
- Create contingency plans when issues arise
Scheduling & Logistics
- Review and approve teacher schedules
- Coordinate substitute coverage
- Schedule demonstrations, assessments, and special events
- Monitor teacher availability and schedule capacity
- Work with sales coordinators to help place new opportunities into teacher schedules
- Help ensure teachers maintain productive schedules
Systems & Process Improvement
- Identify recurring operational challenges
- Document best practices
- Create procedures and workflows
- Recommend operational improvements
- Build strategies and systems that reduce recurring problems
