At Balian Springs, we are dedicated to enhancing personal well-being, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially. Our club blends the restorative elements of a luxury spa with vibrant social spaces, including hydrotherapy pools, saunas, lounges, nourishing eateries, and holistic wellness offerings.
We are currently seeking passionate, service-minded individuals to join our team in the following positions:
- Cashiers/Baristas at The Garden — serving breakfast items, fruit bowls, beverages, smoothies, juices, and light fare
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm, genuine welcome to every guest and assist with menu and amenity information
- Accurately take and process orders, carefully considering allergies and special requests
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items with precision, consistency, and artistry
- Maintain a clean, well-organized workspace and ensure supplies remain stocked
- Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations to uphold the highest service standards
- Share knowledge of specials, workshops, and club events to enhance the guest experience
- Communicate guest feedback to leadership and contribute ideas for new menu offerings
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience as a barista, cashier, or in food & beverage service is preferred
- Familiarity with brewing equipment, food prep, and sanitation practices
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to manage transactions, basic math skills, and attention to detail
- Understanding of customer preferences and commitment to creating a tailored experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (culinary or hospitality training a plus)
- Valid Food Handler / ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
