As a Transportation Assistant/Bus Driver, you provide care for our residences with friendly, positive co-workers adjacent Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve.

Position Summary:
The Transportation Assistant is responsible for transporting residents to outside appointments and events.
Specific Task/Duties
1. Transportation Activities 45% of Time
Transports residents to scheduled appointments and events.
Assists residents with entering and exiting the vehicle.
Escort residents to events as requested.
Informs resident care staff of any changes/concerns of a resident.
Other duties as assigned and which relate to the success of the Community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
2. Safety Activities 45% of Time
Drives safely at all times.
Adheres to the speed limit and other general rules of the road guidelines and rules.
Ensures seat belts and wheelchair harnesses are securely fastened prior to departure.
Utilizes the wheelchair lift appropriately.
3. Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance Activities 10% of Time
Performs vehicle inspection prior to departure and upon return.
Notifies supervisor of repairs or areas of concern.
