Vets Securing America is seeking a professional, reliable Armed Security Officer to provide armed security services at a retail location in Kentucky. This role requires experience, discipline, and a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and punctuality.
Responsibilities
- Provide armed security coverage at a retail site
- Maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and property
- Deter and respond appropriately to security threats
- Enforce site-specific security protocols and procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Arrive on time and remain alert throughout assigned shifts
- Complete incident reports as required
Requirements (Mandatory)
- Valid Kentucky CCDW Permit
- Armed Guard Certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Military
- Law Enforcement
- Armed Security
- Ability to show up on time, every shift
- Flexible availability
- Professional demeanor and strong situational awareness
- Must be legally eligible to carry a firearm while on duty
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior retail security experience
- Conflict de-escalation skills
- Veteran background (preferred, not required)
Compensation
- $30/hour
- Steady work with a professional security organization
Pay: $30.00 per hour
