About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Emergency Room and Critical Care departments in Brooklyn, NY (11212). This is a premier 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity for a highly skilled Registered Nurse looking to make an immediate impact while transitioning into a permanent role.
As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will provide top-tier patient care, triage emergency conditions, and manage critical care interventions in a high-volume hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and execute comprehensive patient care plans for emergency and critical care patients.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to acute changes in patient condition.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing staff to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain strict adherence to clinical standards, safety guidelines, and hospital protocols.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN is required).
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse License.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct hospital experience as an ED or Critical Care Registered Nurse.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- Certifications Preferred: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Availability: Must be available to start within 2 weeks of offer acceptance.
