Overview
Spectrum Lumière LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Companion Caregivers to provide exceptional in-home care to individuals throughout Florida. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with special needs maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

Duties
Responsibilities may vary depending on each client’s individualized care plan, diagnosis, level of independence, and personal preferences. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance, as authorized.
- Assist with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and organizing the home.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with the client’s care plan and company policy.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, community outings, errands, or recreational activities.
- Encourage client independence while providing assistance as needed.
- Observe and promptly report any changes in the client’s physical, mental, or emotional condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Document services provided and complete required company documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate professionally with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow each client’s individualized service plan while maintaining confidentiality and respecting client rights.
- Adhere to all company policies, Florida Home & Companion Services regulations, infection control practices, and safety procedures.
- Report accidents, incidents, concerns, or suspected abuse immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain current certifications, training, and required documentation.
- Perform additional non-medical duties as assigned that are within the scope of a Home & Companion Services caregiver and consistent with each client’s individualized care plan.
Note: Every client is unique. Assigned duties may differ from one client to another based on their specific needs, preferences, and authorized service plan. Caregivers are expected to provide compassionate, person-centered care while remaining within the scope of their training and Florida Home & Companion Services regulations.
Requirements
Spectrum Lumière LLC is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional caregivers who are committed to providing exceptional, person-centered care. Qualified applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or relevant caregiving experience preferred.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before client placement).
- Valid Florida driver’s license or reliable transportation.
- Current automobile insurance if transporting clients using a personal vehicle.
- Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 Background Screening. Spectrum Lumière LLC can assist qualified applicants with completing the required background screening and fingerprinting process.
- Current physical examination and TB screening/clearance (or willingness to complete before employment).
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, families, and team members.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful with a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to work independently while following each client’s individualized care plan.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and daily activities, as required by the client’s service plan.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must complete all required onboarding paperwork and training prior to client assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience providing companion care, homemaker services, respite care, personal care, memory care, hospice support, or working with seniors and individuals with disabilities.
- Existing Florida Clearinghouse eligibility is a plus.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is preferred but not required.
