Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Services within our organization. The selected candidate would be able to work from the Moundsville Office or New Martinsville Office. This pivotal role involves overseeing the administration, operations, and quality of care provided to individuals with developmental disabilities. The Executive Director will ensure compliance with health regulations, foster a positive environment for residents, and manage a dedicated team of care professionals. Duties
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all aspects of IDD services, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with long-term care regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents’ needs, including those requiring Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, and assisted living services.
- Manage daily operations of the care facility or group home, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize service delivery.
- Supervise and support care teams, including nursing staff, social workers, and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Ensure adherence to health regulation policies related to disability services, medication administration, and resident safety protocols.
- Oversee financial management activities such as budgeting, financial planning, and healthcare financial management to sustain operational excellence.
- Maintain strong relationships with residents’ families and community partners to promote resident well-being and community integration.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, staff scheduling, and communication purposes.
- Lead efforts in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident satisfaction and staff performance.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in facility management with a focus on IDD or long-term care services for children and adults in residential services.
- Extensive knowledge of health regulation policies related to long-term care regulations and assisted living standards.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in disability services environments.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks such as report writing, scheduling, and data management.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in healthcare financial management and budgeting processes.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols within long-term or residential care settings.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents’ families, staff members, and community stakeholders.
