Regional Account Manager - Aftermarket Products
Job Overview
As a Reginal Account Manager – Aftermarket Products, you will oversee the management and growth of Aftermarket Products such as protective coatings, windshield protection, and other F&I products across a designated geographic region. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the success of these products with assigned accounts, fostering relationships with management and dealership personnel. You will be accountable to ensure the effective implementation and continued performance of ECP Aftermarket Products, driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring profitability across your assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
- a. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across your assigned accounts, including local dealership management, regional leadership, and dealer group contacts.b. Act as the primary liaison for local dealerships, addressing concerns, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.c. Work collaboratively with both internal ECP teams and local dealer groups to understand customer needs and deliver tailored product solutions.2.
Account Acquisition and Business Development
a. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the district, targeting potential dealership partners for Aftermarket Products.
b. Develop and implement strategies to approach and secure new accounts, leveraging market insights and relationship-building techniques.
c. Collaborate with internal and external teams to customize pitches and proposals, demonstrating the value of ECP Aftermarket Products to prospective clients.
d. Establish a pipeline of potential leads and ensure consistent follow-up to convert prospects into long-term partners.
Aftermarket Product Production Oversight
- a. Oversee the end-to-end process for Aftermarket Product production in the assigned and newly acquired accounts.
- b. Manage and monitor daily dealership training and servicing activities, ensuring they are aligned with ECP standards.
- c. Track and report on product performance, dealership sales figures, and profitability, identifying opportunities for improvement across the district.
Strategic Planning
- a. Develop and execute dealer-specific plans to drive Aftermarket Product growth, performance, and new account acquisition.
- b. Partner with internal ECP teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the assigned accounts.
- c. Set clear goals for product production and sales within the accounts, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- d. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage for your district.
Communication and Training
a. Provide clear and consistent communication to local dealers and regional management regarding product updates, contract changes, and other relevant information.
b. Conduct training sessions to ensure dealerships are up-to-date on product offerings, programs, and best practices.
c. Deliver regular performance summaries and reports to both internal and external teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in client relationship management within the automotive industry, particularly with aftermarket F&I products preferred.
- Strong B2B sales experience and the ability to engage high-level decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, approach, and secure new accounts in a B2B environment.
- Deep understanding of Aftermarket Product processes, procedures, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time within the assigned territory.
