Job Description:
The Accountant/Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director. Will take care of day-to-day office coordination and bookkeeping duties.
Hours: 20~30 hours a week. May need to work on Saturday.
Work Location: 595 Lawrence Expressway, Sunnyvale, CA 94085
Minimum Requirements:
1. Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills
2. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
3. Accountant qualifications and skills
4. Expertise with QuickBooks and advanced computer skills in MS Office
5. One year of accounting experience
6. Effective customer service and organizational skills
Preferred Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
2. At least three years of professional experience

Detailed Job Functions:
1. Post student/customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
2. Post revenues by verifying and entering transactions into QuickBooks.
3. Update receivables by reviewing unpaid invoices.
4. Assist in accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination, and completion of annual audits.
5. Assemble data for reports and for external audits.
6. Reconcile and keep appropriate receivable records, including student statements, to meet accreditor standards.
7. Address students, staff, and faculty's financial questions and provide high-quality customer service.
8. Follow standard processes for financial transactions and adhere to policies and regulations.
9. Demonstrate ethical decision-making.
10. Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
11. Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing assigned tasks.
12. Proactively introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine to UEWM friends and clinic patients.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
