Operates IPC Towers and decomposers. Assists maintenance when needed and moves finished goods to the warehouse—backup to the Lead Operator.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
This role includes a structured training and qualification period. Employees will begin as a Second-Class Operator and, upon successfully completing the required training, probationary period, and qualification requirements, will be promoted to First-Class Operator.
Two years of operating chemical process equipment able to demonstrate skills using basic math and able to perform maintenance functioning using traditional maintenance tools.
High School Diploma or equivalent.

Capable of lifting and walking with weights approaching 50lbs.
Be able to perform very strenuous jobs while wearing breathing air masks, proper PPE, and other safety-related materials.
Required to walk and stand continuously in the units while performing assigned duties.
Turns, stoops, kneels crouches, reaches, pulls, handles, lifts, and carries containers with materials and products weighing up to 400lbs with “drum dolly’ and power containers weighing up to 2,400lbs.
Must have the physical ability to maneuver full cylinders.
Must be calm and stable in emergency situations.
Must be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
Talking, hearing, color vision depth perception, and good peripheral vision are required to properly operate forklift, perform testing, and communicate results.
Be able to climb scaffolds, ladders, and stairs, at varied excessive heights (50 FEET).
Must be able to operate a forklift.
Requires exposure to the manufacturing areas where certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, and mandatory hearing protection.
