Storied French luxury department store, Printemps, is preparing to open its first-ever US location at One Wall Street in the heart of the Financial District.
Located in the historic 50-story landmark, Printemps will have five distinct food and beverage concepts ranging from a casual café to a fine dining restaurant. Food and beverage is helmed by Top Chef alumnus and 3-time James Beard Award Winner, Chef Gregory Gourdet.
Job Summary:
Printemps New York is seeking experienced, hospitality-driven Event Back Waiters to join our events team on a part-time basis. Our team produces a wide range of luxury events, including private dinners, brand activations, cocktail receptions, fashion and cultural events, and full venue buyouts, often attended by high-profile guests and luxury brand partners.

Event Back Waiter
As an Event Back Waiter at Printemps New York, you will work closely with Captains/ Servers, and Sommeliers to support the flow and pace of service while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of event spaces and guest tables. You will play an essential role in creating a seamless and memorable guest experience through attentive support and teamwork.
Responsibilities

Set up and break down event spaces, including tables, furniture, décor, and service stations

Assist Servers and Captains with maintaining the pace and flow of service throughout events

Clear, reset, and maintain tables during service with attention to detail and timing

Support wine, cocktail, and beverage service as needed

Polish and replenish glassware, flatware, plateware, and service wares throughout events

Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and event spaces

Anticipate guest and team needs while providing warm and professional hospitality

Assist with lifting and moving event furniture and equipment up to 50 lbs

Work collaboratively with event managers, culinary teams, and fellow staff to ensure seamless execution

Maintain professionalism and composure during high-volume and high-profile events
Qualifications

2+ years of hospitality or event service experience preferred

Experience working luxury events, fine dining, or VIP clientele preferred

Strong food and beverage knowledge with an eagerness to learn

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Ability to stand and remain active for shifts up to 10 hours
