Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to health standards, using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients.
- Clean floors using appropriate floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing to maintain a polished appearance.
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently while adhering to proper manual handling protocols.
- Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory and operate janitorial equipment responsibly for optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service during each visit.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning surfaces and equipment.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in various environments.
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper use of cleaning equipment is essential.
- Prior experience in housekeeping management or residential housekeeping roles is a plus.
