Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food service operations, POS systems (preferably Focus) , and hospitality standards is essential. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests’ needs throughout their visit
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning service stations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed in a hospitality or food industry setting
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members during busy periods, including host/host duties or food running
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is necessary
- Familiarity with POS systems is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed; previous host/host experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and providing exceptional service
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.26 - $24.40 per hour
