Golf Team Member who enjoys working with people, has a passion for golf, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for either a college student, high school student with flexible availability, retired golfer, or anyone looking to gain experience in the golf industry while working in a fun, fast-paced atmosphere.
Position Overview:
As a Back Nine Golf Staff Member, you will be one of the faces of our facility, ensuring every member and guest enjoys a first-class experience. This role combines hospitality, facility operations, customer service, golf knowledge, and event support. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, personable, and comfortable interacting with members, prospective members, and guests throughout each shift.
Schedule:
- Approximately 10–14 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling- Primarily daytime hours
- Occasional evening shifts (typically 5:00–8:00 PM) for leagues, tournaments, clinics, and special events
- Because Back Nine operates as a 24/7 member facility, flexibility is appreciated, though we work with employee schedules whenever possible.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional facility at all times
- Clean simulator bays, hitting areas, tables, seating areas, and common spaces
- Keep restrooms stocked, tidy, and presentable
- Monitor and replenish food and beverage inventory
- Learn and confidently operate Full Swing Golf technology
- Assist members and guests with simulator operation and general facility questions
- Welcome prospective members, provide facility tours, explain membership options, and assist with the enrollment process
- Answer Back Nine phone calls and provide outstanding customer service
- Monitor daily tee sheets and help ensure efficient bay scheduling
- Report maintenance concerns, technology issues, and facility needs to management
- Assist with golf events, leagues, clinics, tournaments, and promotional activities
- Support marketing initiatives, member engagement, and community outreach
- Help create a friendly, energetic, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest
Qualifications:
- Passion for the game of golf
- Golf playing experience required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing, positive, and engaging personality
- Comfortable initiating conversations with members and guests
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Willingness to learn new technology and procedures
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform light cleaning and facility maintenance throughout each shift Ideal candidate
