About the Position
The Operations Support position supports the Carrier Sales team, ensuring the on-time delivery of Sunset freight. With recent record-breaking growth, we have expanded the Operations Support function to include all shifts and weekend hours. In the Operations Support Weekends (2nd Shift) role, you will manage daily functions that are vital to our continued success, including, but not limited to, dispatching freight, managing and building loads in company software, supporting high levels of customer and carrier support, and tracking and tracing shipments. Best of all, this is a remote position with flexible scheduling.
The schedule will be Friday – Monday, from 1:00 PM – Midnight , with an hour lunch.
What You'll Do
Track and trace shipments with updates as requested
Assist Carrier Sales Representatives with dispatching drivers
Problem solve with your team to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure on-time pickup and delivery
Maintain updated and current records of accounts in company software
Collaborate with your team to resolve issues
What We're Looking For
Willingness to work Weekends from 1:00PM - 12:00AM
Positive attitude and desire to make an immediate impact
Proficiency in MS Office, Windows, and basic business software
MS Office, Windows, and basic business software knowledge
Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask
Experience building relationships focused on customer service
