Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CNA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care and medical knowledge, ensuring the highest standards of health services are delivered to our patients. You will play a critical role in assessing patient needs, providing direct care, and maintaining accurate medical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive patient care by assessing individual needs and developing tailored care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs and changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
- Uphold strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
- Drawing blood for various tests.
- Assisting physicians during exams and procedures.
- Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment.
Experience
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient privacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
