St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.
St. Christopher's has more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, combining top-notch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties including Cardiology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Gastroenterology, Oncology, and Orthopedics. It houses the only Verified Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. The Simulation RN Educator supports experiential learning for healthcare workers through the design, delivery, and evaluation of multidisciplinary simulation activities. The Simulation RN Educator is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, inventory and operation of all simulation equipment/supplies. In this position, the RN works collaboratively with leadership and staff from all clinical disciplines to ensure evidence-based clinical standards and simulation best practices are reflected in all simulation activities and to ensure safe and effective use of the simulation equipment. The Simulation RN Educator plays a key role in outreach to referring facilities by performing learning needs assessments and coordinating simulation activities to take place at these facilities with the assistance of hospital content experts.

Education Requirements-
Master's Degree - OR - BSN and currently enrolled in an MSN program
Experience
Certification and Licensure-
Active Registered Nurse License

BLS Certification
-
American Heart Association PALS and ACLS (commitment to obtain within two months of hire date).

Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) preferred (commitment to obtain within 2 years of hire date)
