Job Summary:
We are seeking a caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Henderson Nursing and Senior Living Center in Henderson, North Carolina. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Tend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Take and record patient vital signs, lift, move, and transport residents using proper body mechanics.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager, asking appropriate questions to clarify situations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Assist nurses with various duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Current Nursing Assistant certification from NC.
- Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.

- Shift Differentials:
+ 2nd Shift: $1.00
+ 3rd shift: 50 cents
