Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Evening Custodian to join our team, working hours of 4pm to 9pm. This position plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of our facility during evening hours. The ideal candidate will help ensure the building remains clean, safe, and presentable.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of high-traffic and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and hallways.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and other restroom essentials.
- Wipe down surfaces, glass, and touchpoints to maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
- Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and replace liners.
- Respond promptly to service requests, spills, and emergency cleaning needs.
- Support event setups and breakdowns, including arranging chairs, tables, and equipment.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and security procedures
- Floor maintenance experience preferred; stripping, scrubbing and restorative duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior janitorial, custodial, or porter experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 per week
