CALLING ALL BEERTENDERS
We here at Raised Grain Brewing Company believe that beer brings people together. We are very particular about the ingredients that go into our beer, our food, as well as our team members! We’re looking for beer fanatics who love sharing their passion with others to join the Raised Grain team, one of the fastest growing breweries (and teams) in SE Wisconsin. Join us in our taproom and our beer gardens as we share our passion—and our beer—with our guests.
This job is for you if you like working in a fun, fast paced environment, are passionate about craft beer, love creating an excellent guest experience, and you enjoy interacting with our customers when they come to our brewery. We are looking for team members who have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
We are currently hiring full-time and part-time employees for our taproom.
Responsibilities:
- Greet our guests with a friendly smile and ensure their experience meets our high standards
- Take and execute beer and food orders correctly and in a friendly manner
- Offer beer suggestions and/or pairings to new and repeat customers
- Keep the bar and taproom area clean before, during, and after shift
- Assist with brewery tours (additional audition for tour guide)
- Be a team player who is willing to perform assigned tasks
Desired qualifications:
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Bartending experience preferred (not required); no bartending license required
- 21+ highly preferred (must be at least 18+ years)
- Should have an interest in craft beer (training available on-site)
- Outgoing and inviting personality required
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Passion for customer service
- Must be willing to perform any duties required (food running, cleaning, stocking, etc.)
- Genuine care and respect for guests, coworkers, and management
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Flexible schedule required (days/nights/weekends)
- Ability to occasionally lift at least 35 pounds
- Ability to multi-task and handle situations with finesse
Job types:
- Part-time: 20-25 hours preferred
- Full-time: 32-40 hours preferred
- Tour guides: Brewery Tours on Saturdays (tour guides can also be beertenders)
