Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review.
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information, medical records, and treatment plans meticulously.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions such as CPR, AED operation, and first aid procedures.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations such as HIPAA and adhere to nursing policy standards for confidentiality and patient safety.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously by assessing vital signs and physiological responses to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families to provide updates, education, and emotional support throughout their care journey.
Requirements
- Valid license from the State Board of Nursing with current registration in good standing.
- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols and compliance with health regulations such as HIPAA.
- Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like EHR systems for accurate documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques across diverse populations
- Excellent communication skills for parent interaction, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient education.
- Ability to respond swiftly during acute care situations or medical emergencies with confidence and professionalism.
This role is a full time position Monday thru Friday, No nights or Weekends!!!
