Location: Arlington, VA (Onsite at USTDA Headquarters)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award
Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Position Overview
D2 Government Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Support Specialist with expertise in Records Management and Custodial File Administration. This position supports agency-wide records management operations, FOIA-related information management, and the implementation of records policies, retention schedules, and training initiatives. The role also contributes to broader administrative and office support functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day‑to‑day records management operations and central file administration
- Implement and maintain records policies, procedures, and retention schedules
- Assist with Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) information management activities
- Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend process improvements
- Provide staff training and technical assistance on records procedures and compliance
- Support general office management and administrative functions as needed
- Assist with conference and event audio‑visual troubleshooting when required
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in records management and FOIA information management
- Strong knowledge of records policies, retention schedules, program evaluation, and staff training
- Proficiency in database systems, word processing, and data entry
- Ability to lift and move files and file boxes as part of custodial duties
- Bachelor’s degree required in business, information management, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in records management or information governance preferred
