Business Development Manager: Commercial, Multifamily & HOA Roofing

Specialist Roofing & Repair is a multi-brand roofing platform serving commercial, multifamily, and HOA clients across Southern California. Our brands include Specialist Roofing & Repair (Burbank) and Fontaine Roofing (Orange), along with San Diego divisions for residential and commercial . We hold deep manufacturer certifications, including OC Platinum, GAF Master Elite, CertainTeed ShingleMaster, FiberTite, and IB Roofing Systems, and we are members of CACM, CAI, NRCA, and BOMA.
We are hiring a Business Development Manager to own relationships with property management firms, owners, and HOA management companies. This is a high visibility seat with executive backing. If you already know the people who decide where roofing work goes, this is a chance to turn that network into an exceptional opportunity.
What you will do
- Build and own a target account list of property management firms, owners, and HOA managers across our footprint
- Secure approved and preferred vendor status and master service agreements
- Generate roof assessments, condition reports, and capital-planning conversations
- Drive bid invitations and hand qualified opportunities to our estimating team and producers
- Represent the platform at BOMA, CAI, CACM, and IREM events, sponsorships, and trade shows
- Keep disciplined pipeline records and coordinate to route work to the right brand by geography and account fit
What we are looking for
- A network you can name. You have live relationships at the area or regional level or with property decision makers inside firms like CBRE, Greystar, JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Irvine Company, Colliers, or comparable property managements and owner organizations
- Fluency with how large PM organizations buy, including approved vendor, MSA, and RFP processes
- Consultative business development instincts
- A self starter who proactively builds a portfolio rather than just waiting for one to be handed over
- CRM discipline
- Active involvement in BOMA, CAI, CACM, IREM, or NAA is a plus
Compensation and benefits
- Base salary of $80,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and depth of relationships
- On-target earnings of $150,000 to $190,000+ - commission based performance incentive
- Auto allowance, phone, and an expense budget for client engagement and trade-org activities
