Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to technical specifications and safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality metal structures and products, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication shop drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, power tools, and shop math to ensure precise dimensions and quality control.
- Fabricate metal components from sheet metal, structural steel, or other metal materials through cutting, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly processes.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and machining equipment safely and efficiently within a fabrication shop environment.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and ensure projects are completed on time with high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience working on construction sites or in a fabrication shop environment with metal materials.
- Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, SMAW, and knowledge of welding standards.
- Strong ability to read mechanical blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise fabrication work.
- Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, metal materials, and assembly techniques.
- Experience with plasma cutting, machining, sheet metal fabrication, and using hand tools or power tools safely.
- Ability to work effectively with measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality assurance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to welding operations and metal fabrication environments.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
